- If I'd had unlimited time: Hot Air Balloon Festival in Albuquerque (not until October), Carlsbad bat flight (not there at the right time of day), trip into Mexico (if it's too unsafe for the Air Force, I'm not going)

Awesome! Love the map & recap. Very, very cool. :) And I'm jealous of you seeing Stef and Ronnie! (Plus, you know, seeing all the other awesome things you saw, but especially Stef and Ronnie.)
This is awesome. I think you should do it Indiana Jones-style with the animated vehicle drawing the line between cities.
Also, you read books while you drive? That's dangerous.
