These last few days have been the coldest that I can remember ever experiencing in Utah (Norway was humid, bone-aching cold). Last night, it was 40 degrees below freezing. Coincidentally (?) I stumbled across
this fascinating piece of writing about what happens when a human being freezes, but not necessarily to death. The most sticking line: "You're not dead until you're warm and dead."
